Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Chandigarh & drive to Shimla. 2,250 M /7,382 feet (120 kms /4 hrs)

MEAL: Breakfast & Dinner On your arrival at Chandigarh railway station/airport, you will be met by our driver and he will drive you to Shimla ( 4 hrs) via Barog, Solan. Enroute you will stop for a lunch break at Barog ( 2 hrs from Chandigarh) and comfort breaks and would have enough time to stop for photo breaks. You will reach Shimla in the evening and will transfer to your hotel in Shimla. Overnight stay in Hotel in Shimla. Evening is free to explore the mall road of Shimla.

Day 02: Shimla-Kufri local sightseeing

MEAL: Breakfast & Dinner After breakfast at your hotel, your driver will take you for a full day of sightseeing tour of Shimla town. We will visit the famous Viceregal Lodge, also known as the Indian Institute of Advance studies- where arrangements for the partition of India and Pakistan have worked out the Jakhoo temple (monkey temple) on the top of Jakhoo hills, and we will also take you to visit Kufri or Naldera where one can go for pony rides in the countrysides. Later on, after lunch drive back to Shimla and walk around the Mall road of Shimla to visit the Christ Church, the Gaiety Theatre, and Mall Road with its scandal point. Second night in the same hotel in Shimla.

Day 03: Shimla – Sarahan 2,150 metres / 7,055 feet, (170 kms 9-10 hrs)

MEAL: Breakfast & Dinner After breakfast at the hotel, we will set off at around 9:00 A.M. Today is a drive of 9-10 hrs, driving through the beautiful villages of Fagu, Theog, Matiana, Narkanda, and Rampur. En route, we will have many comfort breaks and will visit the Apple orchards and Hattu peak (3,400 meters/ 11,154 feet) at Narkanda, from where you can have a spectacular view of the mighty Central Himalayas and will also visit the traditional wooden carved temple of Goddess Kali on the top. We will also stop by a small lake on the way to Hattu Peak. Later on, we continue our drive to Sarahan via Rampur and en route, we will stop for a lunch break and various picture breaks and comfort breaks. Sarahan – the tiny village offers splendid views of Shrikhand Mahadev Peak (5,155 meters). The major attraction in Sarahan is the centuries-old Hindu temple of Goddess Bhimakali. Steeped in legend, the temple complex is a resplendent example of hill architecture. Sarah is also the gateway to Kinnaur valley.. Overnight stay in Hotel in Sarahan.

Day 04: Sarahan – Sangla 2,680 metres / 8,792 feet, (90 kms / 4-5 hrs)

MEAL: Breakfast & Dinner After breakfast at your hotel, we will visit the famous temple of Bhimakali at Sarahan. This is the same temple in which human sacrifices were made about two centuries ago. After visiting the temple we will continue driving to Sangla (4-5 hrs) where you will check in at your hotel or could also choose to stay in fixed luxury tented accommodation. After lunch, you will be taken on a walk through Kamru and Sangla villages ( 1-2 hrs) and we will visit the beautifully carved old temples and Buddhist monasteries. You will have plenty of opportunities to speak to the local people in these valleys. The Sangla valley is also known as the Baspa Sangla valley, after the river Baspa which flows through the valley and it is part of Kinnaur valley. Overnight in luxury tented accommodation/hotel in Kinner in Sangla.

Day 05: Sangla to Chitkul 3,450 metres / 11,318 feet and back to Sangla

MEAL: Breakfast & Dinner A day to have short comfortable walks around the area). This morning after breakfast we will be driving you to Chitkul ( 20 km, total 1 hrs, each side – 3,450 meters / 11,318 feet.) which is the last village on the Indian side on the Indo–Tibetan border. The village of Chitkul is like something from a fairy tale, and you will have a chance to walk slowly around it. The landscapes are stunning, and you will have plenty of time to enjoy them and talk to the local people. We will return to Sangla for lunch in the local restaurants and later the rest of the day is free to relax in the mountain landscape or if you like you can walk to other nearby villages or nature walks. We will have this second night at the same hotel / luxury-tented accommodation at Sangla.

Day 06: Sangla to Kalpa 2,758 metres / 9,048 feet (40 kms/ 2-3 hrs)

MEAL: Breakfast & Dinner After breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to Kalpa village (2-3 hrs.) En route, we will stop at Recongpeo and will have a walk around the local market. Recongpeo is the district headquarters of Kinnaur district. We will have lunch in a local restaurant where you have a choice to enjoy Indian or Tibetan food. After lunch, we will drive to Kalpa ( 7 km), and you will check in to your hotel. After some rest, you may wish to take a walk to Kalpa village and the nearby Roghi village. These villages are covered with thick pine forests and are famous for apricots and apples. The finest view of Mt. Kinner Kailash Mountain (6000 meters) can be had from here. This is a spectacular sight early in the morning as the rising sun touches the snowy peaks with crimson and gold light.

Day 07: Kalpa to Nako 3,662 metres /12,014 feet (120 Kms / 5-6 hrs)

MEAL: Breakfast & Dinner Wake up in the morning, take a bath, and have your breakfast we will drive you to Nako (5-6 hrs.). Here you will check in to the hotel or into the luxury tented accommodation. Later on, after lunch we will take you for a walk in the village with your guide and visit the Buddhist monastery related to guru Padmasambhava (a great Buddhist scholar, whose teachings spread to Tibet from India), we will also visit Nako Lake, the residence of His Holiness The Dalai Lama ji. Later on next morning you may wish to walk to the nearby peaks with your guide and enjoy a wonderful view of the whole Nako village with the Himalayas as the backdrop of the village.

Day 08: Nako to Tabo 3,894 metres / 12,784 feet , ( 90 kms / 5- 6 hrs)

MEAL: Breakfast & Dinner After breakfast, we will drive you to Tabo (4hrs.) and en route visits the Gue village which is also the last Indian village on the Indo-Tibetan border. Here we will be visiting the naturally preserved mummy of a Buddhist monk which is about 600 years old and was discovered here while building the road. Later on, reach Tabo and check in to your hotel. In the evening visit the Tabo monastery which is the oldest monastery in the Himalayas. Today we will be entering the beautiful Spiti valley which is also known as the cold desert of the Himalayas (this area is cut from the rest of the world due to heavy snow in the winters).

Day 09: Tabo to Kaza 3,2000 metres / 10,500 feet, ( 50 kms)

MEAL: Breakfast & Dinner Today after breakfast we will drive you to Kaza (3 hrs.) En route, we will visit the Dhankar village and Dhankar monastery and fort. Later on, we continue our drive to Kaza where you will check in at your hotel. The evening is free to explore in the Kaza market.

Day 10: Kaza – Ki Monastery – Gitte – Kibber- Kaza

Meal: Breakfast & Dinner Today we visit the world-famous Ki Monastery. Our first stop will be at the base of the monastery hill for the ultimate photo opportunity of this remarkable structure. With over 1000 years’ worth of stories to tell, the Ki Monastery situated at a height of 13,668 feet was founded by a disciple of the famous Atisha, in the 11th century CE. Belonging to the Yellow Hat or Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism, this monastery is famous as a prominent center of learning as well as a refuge for Tibetans. Later we will move farther up the valley to the picturesque village of Kibber. Located at a height of 4205 meters and 18 km from Kaza, this formerly highest permanently inhabited village of this region, is also a popular base camp to embark on adventure and treks to adjoining mountains of high altitude. The expanses of beautiful landscapes and the immeasurable beauty of the snow-tipped mountains make the place a heaven for nature lovers and photographers alike. We drive higher up to the secluded village of Gette where we absorb stunning aerial views of Kaza and tie a prayer flag. we will be welcomed by locals in Kibber- Kaza to enjoy homestay.

Day 11:- Kaza Ki Monastaey-chicham-losar-kunzum La Keylong (186 km. 03-04 hrs.)

Meal: Breakfast & Dinner After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Tso Chigma or Chandra Taal. Chandra Tal is a lake in the Lahaul part of the Lahul and Spiti districts of Himachal Pradesh. Chandra Taal is near the source of the Chandra River. Despite the rugged and inhospitable surroundings. After a delightful journey with beautiful sightseeing reach Keylong by evening on the way to SISSU sightseeing (3-4 hours journey). Check-in to the hotel take some rest and evening for leisure.

DAY 12: Keylong Sight seeing

Meal: Breakfast & Dinner Today go for an excursion visiting Trilokinath and Marikula devi temple at Udaipur in pattan valley. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 13: Keylong - Solang valley- Manali (70 km, 02 hrs)

Meal: Breakfast & Dinner After breakfast check out from camp and drive to Manali to visit some places. Solang Valley (35 km.) is also known as Snow Valley. Which is famous for hosting various winters adventure sports like Paragliding and Gondola Ride. In Solang Valley, you Can also enjoy trekking, Skiing, and Mountaineering. Solang Valley is located between the Solang valley and Beas Kund and offers a majestic view of glaciers and snow-capped Mountains. After that back to Hotel and enjoy dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel. Evening came back to the hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 14: Manali City Tour

MEAL: Breakfast & Dinner Hidimba Temple:- Hidimba Devi Temple, locally known as Dhungari Temple, also known variously as the Hadimba Temple, is located in Manāli, a hill station in the State of Himāchal Pradesh in north India. It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimbi Devi, wife of Bhima, a figure in the Indian epic Mahābhārata. Hidimba Devi Temple is one of the famous tourist attractions in Manali. Vashisht Temple:- The Vashisht Hot Water Spring is one of the famous attractions of this region. The hot springs is believed to have medicinal value. The springs are said to cure many skin diseases. Many people go to the Vashisht baths to take a dip and rid themselves of skin infections and diseases. Club House:- The Club House Manali is located in the center of the city near Mall road. It offers comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar, and a restaurant. The place is one of the most favorite attractions in Manali for kids, who can play video games, enjoy Go carting, etc. available here. Tibetan Monastery:- Manali has several colorful Tibetan monasteries that represent the rich culture and history of the Tibetan people settled in Kullu & Manali of Himachal Pradesh.

Day 15: Manali to Kasol (77 km, 02 hrs)

MEAL: Breakfast & Dinner This Day After breakfast proceeds to Manikaran. About 5,700 ft from mean sea level, Manikaran lies next to the Parvati River. The river gets its name from mythological stories connecting it to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The Guru Nanak Devji Gurudwara also known as Manikaran Gurudwara is associated with Guru Nanak (the founder of Sikhism). Their gurudwara has a langar (kitchen) that offers free food. Temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and Ramchandra are other places of worship in Manikaran. It is one of the most visited temples in all of Himachal. Kulwant Peeth in Manikaran is considered to be the most sacred path. By evening, check in to the hotel and enjoy dinner at Hotel Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 16: Kasol to Jibhi (83 km 2-3 hrs.)

MEAL: Breakfast & Dinner The tour is going to end soon, have your breakfast and move towards jibhi to explore the mountains and scenic views along with jibhi waterfalls. By evening Check-in to the hotel and evening free for jibhi local.

Day 17: Jibhi to Chandigarh ( 270 kms – 8-9 hrs)

MEAL: Breakfast & Dinner Today after breakfast we will drive you to Chandigarh via Kullu, Aut, Hanogi Devi temple, and Pandoh Dam. If interested we will stop you at the shawl weaving factory at Kullu for 1-2 hrs for shopping or you can also go river rafting on the Beas river. Later on, we will continue our drive to Chandigarh. En route, we will also visit Hanogi Devi Temple, and Pandoh Dam and will stop at Sundernagar for the Lunch Break. We will arrive in Chandigarh by evening, where you will stay overnight in a hotel.

Day 18: Chandigarh sight seeing and Depart

MEAL: Breakfast & Dinner After breakfast at the hotel, check out from the hotel and spend some time in Chandigarh in the evening departs to the railway station or airport.
